  • Refugees 300 cms x 70 cmsPaper2015The images of the Syrian refugees thrown by the media in recent years, were the basis for my series of drawings called "Via Dolorosa" and "Refugees". With these drawings I have sought to reflect the fragility, the drama and the uncertainty of those people forced to leave their homes due to the circumstances of war in their countries.
  • Refugees (detail) 242 cms x 70 cmsPaper, pigments2015Drawings based on images of the Syrian refugees thrown by the media in recent years. The shadows and voids that the lines of the figures project on anonymous walls, represent a NON PLACE, an ambiguous and uncertain space that serves as a metaphor for the insecurity that represents the journey undertaken by the refugees towards a better destiny.
